President/Founder – Gottesman Company in 1985. Involvement in a broad range of M&A transactions covering manufacturing, distribution, service firms, retail chains, throughout North America. Some overseas involvement.

Prior to starting Gottesman Company, Mr. Gottesman was President/Founder of New York Yellow Pages, Inc., which was sold in 1985, to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. Other experience includes: Revlon Company – Product Manager; Sulfur-8 Chemical Co. – Vice President; RH Donnelly Co. – Sales; Seneca Textile Co. – Assistant Converter.

Currently serves on New York City Board of Directors of the Boy Scouts of America. Sponsor of Gottesman Communication and Technology Center at Ten Mile River Scout Camps in New York State.

Former member and officer of the Executives Association of New York; Currently member of 100 Club (NYC) – Past VP; Member Association for Cooperate Growth; International Business Brokers Association; M&A Source; Better Business Bureau.

Mr. Gottesman has spoken before all manner of trade associations; and been interviewed on radio and television. He has also written a business column for the New York Post newspaper titled Business Advisor. He was creator and moderator of the New York Business Forum Cable TV Show and also was an instructor in business at New York University – “How to Start and Run your own Business”.

Mr. Gottesman is currently an active member of Rotary International, the worldwide service organization operating on both local and national levels.

Mr. Gottesman is graduate of the Wharton School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics and a major in Accounting. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Business School Honorary Society, a licensed New York State Real Estate Broker and a Lifetime CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) with the IBBA, the International Business Brokers Association, one of less than a dozen Lifetime CBI’s in the US.

Mr. Gottesman is world traveled, an Eagle Scout and Chairman of the Camping Committee for the Greater New York Councils Boy Scouts of America.
